If you’re a West Ham fan, you know what it’s like to sit a million lightyears away from the pitch. The London stadium has proven to be … not so viewer friendly. Being so far away from the action means missing a lot of it.
But, West Ham’s London Stadium is set to become more “football friendly” for the 2020-21 season. Two new stands will be added to the stadium behind the goals. Seats will be moved up to 4 meters closer to the pitch.

The club has been in contact with supporters, management and the Arena Events Group to maximize improvements. Another addition to the improvements will be the use of club colors on seats (ouch, those were missing) and ease of access to amenities.
These steps are set to take off in summer, once this season ends, and as always, with Covid-19 safety precautions in place.
West Ham are hopeful that London Stadium will undergo its planned £11.5m upgrade this summer, Some new images of how the north and south stands could look next season are here. https://t.co/YgbDbwpwUV
