Every time the calendar shows Sept. 18, The18 is legally obligated to write about Christian Pulisic. I don’t make the rules, I simply follow them. With that out of the way, this year we will recap the best Pulisic highlights of his career. In case you’re wondering what has been done in previous years for his birthday, please refer to the following list.
Pulisic’s 19th birthday: Compared him to Landon Donovan.
Pulisic’s 20th birthday: Said goodbye to his teenage era.
Pulisic’s 21st birthday: Followed the social media craze around his name.
Pulisic’s 22nd birthday: Count down his top five moments.
There are still plenty of ideas in the tank. Be sure to come back for Sept. 18, 2021, 2022, 2023, etc.
The18 covered Pulisic’s greatest moments in 2017, but a lot can happen in three years, thus a refresher is needed.

Pulisic became the first American man to ever score in the FA Cup final against Arsenal back in August. The joyous occasion was marred by a hamstring injury that is still affecting him. He wasn’t in the lineup for Chelsea’s opener against Brighton and isn’t expected to feature against Liverpool either.

Pulisic joined some elite company to wear the iconic number for Chelsea. If you would have told me five years ago that Eden Hazard wouldn’t be wearing the No. 10 and that an American was I would have suggested you stay off the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.
The only question that remains is if Pulisic will live up to the No. 10 role.
4. His First Champions League Goal
His first Champions League goal was an absolute beauty. Pulisic helped Borussia Dortmund to an important 4-0 victory against Benfica with a goal and an assist in the match.
3. Youngest USMNT Player To Score
At 17 years and 253 days young Pulisic made his name known to the national team. The match may have been a friendly against a Bolivia, but a record is a record. He has recorded 14 goals for the USMNT and we can expect plenty more in the future.
2. Torching The Premier League Champions

Pulisic nearly spoiled Liverpool’s big trophy-lift day at Anfield with a sensational performance. The American was substituted into the match with his team losing 4-1 and went to work two minutes after coming on. It truly was a surreal feeling watching Captain America leave Liverpool’s mighty defense flailing behind him.
Twelve minutes after setting up the assist he got a goal for himself. The Reds may have still won 5-3, but it was moments like these that earned him the No. 10 shirt.
1. Perfect Hat Trick Against Burnley
There’s not much else I can say to hype up this match from Pulisic, so sit back, relax and enjoy some of the best Pulisic highlights.
