Real Madrid and Arsenal are both having terrible (for them) seasons. Real Madrid are in fourth place in La Liga, which is unacceptable for a club that big. Arsenal are in sixth in the Premier League, and in danger of falling out of the Champions League race altogether. Fortunately, there is a solution that fits both clubs, that would benefit each right now and in the long-term: Arsena Wenger and Zinedine Zidane should switch clubs.
You think this is a joke but it's not.
Arsene Wenger and Zinedine Zidane should switch clubs.
Think about it: Real Madrid are having a terrible (for them) season, and need some kind of infusion of something. Obviously, only an elite manager will do. What are they going to do, hire Rafa Benitez back? No. Arsene Wenger is still an elite manager, albeit one in need of a change of scenery. He and Real Madrid's transfer war chest could really do some damage.
Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane increasingly looks like he won't be Real Madrid manager for very much longer. Arsenal need a fresh face because they are also having a terrible (for them) season, and they can continue their tradition of hiring French guys who frown a lot. Arsenal need a rebuild, and Zidane's mere presence should help recruit new signings.
So, to recap: both teams would get elite mangers for their rebuilding projects (Real Madrid's will take less time, obviously). Basically it's perfect. Why haven't these two switched places yet?
