The USWNT superstar announced on Saturday that Charlie Elena Carrasco was born at 11:30 a.m. on May 7, 2020, weighing in at 8 pounds, 5 ounces.

It’s a good thing the 2020 Olympics were pushed bacl to 2021, because it would’ve been mighty hard for Alex Morgan to return to playing shape given how long it’s taking her baby to arrive. The latest Alex Morgan baby update showed the USWNT superstar riding her bike while 41 (!) weeks pregnant.

Alex Morgan is having a baby. 

The global women’s soccer icon posted a baby announcement on social media on Oct. 23, confirming the two-time Women’s World Cup winner is pregnant and expecting to give birth in April. Morgan is married to former LA Galaxy midfielder Servando Carrasco. 

According to the announcement post, the Carrascos are expecting a baby girl. This is the couple’s first child. 

Most USMNT fans fondly remember the Snow Clasico of 2013, but how many fans remember the USWNT’s first-ever snow game, in which Alex Morgan made her national team debut?

Almost three years before the men’s national team beat Costa Rica 1-0 in a ridiculously snowy World Cup qualifier in Colorado, the USWNT played Mexico in a friendly in front of 3,732 fans on March 31, 2010, at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. 

The Americans prevailed 1-0 that blustery night, and Morgan made her USWNT debut at the age of 20.
