Amazing Goals

Dembele Roasts Man United

Recent signee, Ousmane Dembele roasted the defense of Manchester United to put the game completely out of reach Friday morning as he tallied Dortmund's 3rd goal of the match. A rough start for José Mourinho, as Man U had a disorderly day which led to a 4-1 beating but still a friendly at the end of the day. Dortmund is a team to be reckoned with this upcoming fall with Mario Gotze returning to join Reus while also signing German star, André Schürrle. A brilliant solo goal for Dembele is one that we hope to see more of this season.

Techera Scores A Left Footed Spinning Torpedo

An interesting 18th week in the MLS had some own goals, a goal saving handball (great stuff FC Dallas), an extraordinary hat trick by Clint Dempsey (goal, assist and a red card), and a preposterous banger courtesy of Cristian Techera. Fresh off of a 1-0 lead, Vancouver took advantage of another chance just minutes later to put the game out of reach. A failed freekick attempt led to a ball bouncing back out of the box where Techera received a pass to then take his chances with the ball on his left foot.

Éder's Cannon Perfectly Capped Off Euro 2016

Euro 2016 was emotional, inspiring, heartbreaking, beautiful and most definitely perfectly capped off Sunday night in Paris as Portugal hoisted the trophy after fighting off many roadblocks. A narrow advance to the knockout rounds after finishing 3rd place in their group, losing Pepe for the semifinals and lastly, watching their superstar be stretchered off in the early moments of the final was definitely enough for a team to lose hope. But the Portuguese dug deep and held off waves of attack from the French to earn a single moment in Euro history that will be forever remembered.

Ronaldo's Smashing Header Proved To Be The Winner Against Wales

The rise, the connection, the shake of the back of the net and the famous celebration. Cristiano Ronaldo's header can only be described as towering. His elevation made him look like he was floating above the Welsh defenders as he smashed a beautiful service past the waiting goalkeeper. Portugal being criticized for not finishing off a single game in this tournament in regular time, left no question in the minds of the doubters as they showed Wales the exit door with a 2-0 decisive win. Ronaldo now has the chance to do what Messi could not do in June... win a major tournament.

Renato Sanches Levels For Portugal

In case you missed it last week, Renato Sanches, the up and coming star for Portugal scored a beamer that tied the game at 1's. Not only is this kid already a great player, the best part is, he is only 18! He is the youngest player to score for Portugal in the European Championships and crazy enough he is the youngest player in history to score in a knockout round game at the Euros. A rising Benfica star thats now at Bayern Munich will be ready to grow his name on the world's stage at the club and international level. What impact will he make against Wales tomorrow?

Italy Knocks Off The Defending Champs

The 90+ minute winner from Graziano Pellé was enough to seal a two nil victory over the 2012 Euro Champions and advance Italy to the quarterfinals. The Spain Italy affair was one taken by Italy and not given. David De Gea for most of the game, kept Spanish hopes alive with some beautiful saves but he couldn't keep everything out. Italy moves on to face Germany on Saturday. Imagine how out of hand this game could have gotten without the beast in net....

Boateng Jumps Germany Out Front With His First International Goal

It is surprising that it took Boateng 7 years to get on the score sheet for the German national team but he got his first tally in a very important knockout game vs Slovakia. As a cross was rebounded out, Boateng came striding in to hit the ball straight on. It was a great connection that beat the Slovakian goalie bottom left. On to the quarter finals!! This isn't the only big moment Boateng has had for Germany this Euros. What can we expect against Italy next?

Shaqiri Scored A Bicycle Kick And It Was Awesome

In case you missed it this weekend, Xherdan Shaqiri scored a goal that most people would only try in the backyard. And in that sense, missing the ball is the most likely outcome. However, Shaqiri defied the odds to score a gorgeous goal. It had the announcers in shock, it had Poland in shock and it had every single viewer in absolute shock because of how epic it was. A late 1-0 Poland lead was diminished by this goal from Shaqiri in the 82nd minute which sent the game to extra time and eventually penalties.
