In recent years, the number of American soccer players moving to Europe has increased exponentially. Normally, these players leave MLS clubs or their academies, but the latest American to move abroad did not follow this traditional path.

He transferred from the USL Championship to Ligue 1 and set a domestic record in the process. On Tuesday, Orange County SC (OCSC) center back Kobi Henry joined Stade de Reims for a fee of $700,000 — the biggest fee ever accepted by a USL club.

Leeds United has signed American midfielder Brenden Aaronson from Red Bull Salzburg for an undisclosed fee on a five-year contract, the Premier League club said on Thursday.

Aaronson will complete the move on July 1 and the 21-year-old will be tied to the club until 2027.

Christian Pulisic might be done with Chelsea, at least if we go by his Instagram bio. Pulisic transfer rumors are spiking after the American winger seemed to hint he’s on his way out after removing Chelsea from his bio and profile pic.

Pulisic is the most popular USMNT player in the world thanks to his big-money move to Chelsea in 2019. But the native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, hasn’t received the playing time he or his fans would prefer.

American stars Catarina Macario and Lindsey Horan became the fourth and fifth USWNT players to win the UEFA Champions League as Lyon defeated the seemingly unstoppable Barcelona 3-1 on Saturday in Turin.

Macario and Horan played the entire game and the 22-year-old phenom made history as the first American to score in the final.
