Soccer Players With The Craziest Pets

During the coronavirus pandemic, many people have had to turn to their pets for social interactions. Felines and dogs make great stay-at-home buddies for playing and taking snoozes together.

Plenty of professional soccer players like Alex Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo and Rose Lavelle all have pet dogs to keep them company. Players like Robin Van Persie, Kevin De Bruyne and Adrianna Franch are on team cats. Some players go for the bizarre with their pets.

Here is a list of soccer players with the craziest pets.

2020 Goalkeeper Of The Year Award Hotly Contested Between Two Felines

In April during the height of quarantine the internet went crazy for a cat playing goalkeeper. The second wave is here after popular FIFA Youtuber ChrisMD posted a video of his own feline guarding the goal-line. I must say, this cat goalkeeper gives the last one a run for its money.

Without The Goat’s Black Magic, FC Cologne Suffers Late Collapse

I’m no Bundesliga expert. When it comes to FC Cologne, I’ve always known two things: (1) Lukas Podolski and (2) goats.

The club boasts one of the greatest crests in world football, which features the silhouette of the famed twin spires of the Cologne Cathedral and that dang ol' goat Hennes.

Someone Shot Hope Solo’s Best Doggo Conan

Hope Solo has never been shy about her love for her dobermans; she’s a proud owner of five of the majestic dogs. Sadly, tragedy struck one of her doggos this week when someone committed the “heinous act” of shooting her beloved Conan on Wednesday.

Solo announced the news on Instagram and Twitter on Thursday afternoon, saying Conan was in critical condition. She also thanked the Wilkes Veterinary Hospital in North Carolina and its staff for their aid.

There has been a near world-wide moratorium on the playing of soccer in recent weeks because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The last few weeks have been particularly devastating for football fans around the globe who have nothing to watch on weekends, forcing them to interact with family members with whom they forgot they lived. But out of hardship comes art, and thus we have found a treasure trove of soccer cat stock photos.

Cat Playing Goalkeeper Will Be The Best 57 Seconds Of Your Day

If your day has been lackluster or generally uneventful, the following 57 seconds will make everything better. We’ve seen cats play other roles on the pitch, we’ve even seen fish play soccer, but how many times have you seen a cat playing goalkeeper?

Atleti Striker Llorente Rubs Salt In Liverpool Wounds By Renaming Dog Anfield

It appears as though scoring two goals to knock Liverpool out of the Champions League was not enough for Marcos Llorente. The Atlético Madrid striker had to add insult to injury.

Llorente recently posted a picture to his Instagram stories of one of his pugs, which it looks as though he has renamed Anfield after the site of his destruction of Liverpudlian hopes of a repeat European championship.

Footballers With Their Animals Is The Content You Didn’t Know You Needed

What are two things that you can’t live without? If you said footballers and your pet then we are on the same page.

There is no better content than cute animals and some of your favorite ballers. Chelsea Player Attempts Home Workout But Her Dog Steals The Show

In these troubling times of self-isolation and social distancing, many soccer stars are showcasing either their toilet-paper juggling skills or some home workouts, showing their readiness to return to the pitch.

Chelsea Women defender Maria Thorisdottir was the latest to take her shot at a work out video.

But her golden retriever, Theo, had other plans.
