You’ll likely be aware that the great majority of people on this planet refer to the beautiful game, that noblest of sports, not as soccer, but football. You’re also probably up to speed on the fact that soccer is in fact a long-since-abandoned piece of British slang, principally used by public (read: posh) school boys in 19th century England to distinguish football from their true love: rugby.

The World Cup and the Super Bowl are two of the biggest sporting events on this planet. The 2014 FIFA World Cup final had 3.2 billion global viewers and 1 billion people tuned in to watch the final between Argentina and Germany.

Rabonas in soccer are good and cool. Rabonas in other sports are also good and cool, but for a different reason, namely they normally result in embarrassment and memes for the attempted perpetrator of said rabona.

Rabonas in other sports are funny, basically.

The NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers found this out on Sunday when they made their poor kicker try a rabona onside kick against the Baltimore Ravens.

When it comes to professional sports, there are players that can do things that leave even the most casual fans amazed. Two such examples: Cristiano Ronaldo's ability to take a penalty kick and Aroldis Chapman 's ability to throw a fastball.

Both acts are amazing to witness. Both leave opponents feeling helpless. But which is harder: stopping Ronaldo or getting a hit off Chapman?
