Former Real Madrid and Chelsea winger Eden Hazard announced his retirement from football at the age of 32 on Tuesday four months after leaving the Spanish giants.

The former Belgium international joined Real in 2019 as the club's record signing but suffered injuries and struggled to settle at the Santiago Bernabeu during a dismal four-year spell.

Despite limited playing time at Real, Hazard won several trophies, including the Champions League and two LaLiga titles.

Wales manager Rob Page confirmed that Wrexham striker Paul Mullin has been placed on standby for upcoming matches against Gibraltar and Croatia.

Mullin recently returned to action for Wrexham after suffering a collapsed lung and four broken ribs during the clubs preseason tour in America ahead of its return to League Two. WOLVERHAMPTON — Hwang Hee-chan scored the winner as Wolverhampton Wanderers ended champions Manchester City's perfect start to the Premier League season with a shock 2-1 home win on Saturday.

Hwang restored the home side's lead on the counter-attack and against the run of play in the 66th by firing into the net from close rangeafter a Matheus Cunha pass found him unmarked.
