Christian Pulisic scores sensational mesmerizing, beautiful golazo… from 1 yard away

If you’ve already seen the Christian Pulisic goal from Thursday’s Europa League game between AC Milan and Slavia Praha, then you know we’re being sarcastic with our headline.

Pulisic scored Milan’s fourth goal in a 4-2 victory at San Siro, but we’ll admit he may or may not have stolen a goal from Rafael Leão.

In the 85th minute Pulisic was involved in the build-up of what turned out to be a dazzling run and clever finish from Leão. Pulisic then helped it over the line at the last moment.

Watch: Philadelphia Union open 2024 campaign with the most Concacaf own goal ever

A Philadelphia Union own goal during their 3-2 Concacaf Champions Cup victory vs. Costa Rica’s Deportivo Saprissa marked the return of Concacaf club play in all its glory.

One reason often given for MLS teams’ poor performances in Concacaf competitions is that the teams are still in preseason mode in February and aren’t in full form.

That couldn’t have been more the case for Jakob Glesnes and Andre Blake as they combined — or failed to combine — for a hilarious blooper on Tuesday.

Preseason serves as a great window to get rid of the rust and make mistakes to learn from even for veteran players. Gotham FC and USWNT star Kelley O’Hara shared just that on Wednesday in a hilarious video of her getting tackled by a motionless defender.

During NWSL preseason with defending champions Gotham, O’Hara was completely cleaned out by a defender. The good news is that there won’t be any hard feelings due to the fact that one of the players involved in the incident lacks the ability to have feelings.

The painful sparta kick took place during Wednesday’s AFC Asian Cup match between Lebanon and China.

In the second half Lebanon’s Khalil Khamis cleared a ball with a high boot and China’s Dai Wai Tsun was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
