Dutch Prime Minister Has Clear Message For Match-Going Fans: Shut Up
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Monday hit out at fans who sing and cheer at soccer matches, saying they were frustrating the fight against the coronavirus amid a surge in infections.
Limited crowds have been allowed back in Dutch stadiums since the start of the new season this month, but only if they adhere to social distancing rules and refrain from singing and shouting.

Home Cooking Leaves Constipated Feeling In Opening Weekend For EPL And NFL
There’s nothing like September in the sporting calendar.
The crisp, serene, hazy weather of an Indian summer descends on the land. Fall coloring dashes the landscape in vivid hues of earthly life. The crack and smoke of an afternoon barbecue rolls into the flame and warmth of an evening fire pit.
Hoodies come out. The beer grows darker. The movies and TV shows are more frightening. All good things.
Pissed Hamburg Player Jumps Into Stands To Fight Opposing Fan After Losing 4-1
Hamburg defender Toni Leistner went full Eric Dier and then some with a Dynamo Dresden fan after his team was knocked out in the first round of the DFB-Pokal on Monday. Dresden was relegated from the 2. Bundesliga last season but got revenge with a shocking 4-1 upset of Hamburg.
It’s not entirely clear what happened, but the Dresden fan must have said/done something to cause Leistner to jump into the stands and let him have it.
