Dynamo Dresden is a club with a lot of tradition in Germany. Known for its strong backing and fan base, Dresden has had a rollercoaster run through Germany’s football divisions over the past years. Bouncing back and forth between second league relegation and third division promotion, Dynamo Dresden often faced other obstacles, too.
The Premier League has brought in a lot of players this offseason with plenty who show promise of filling the boots of those who have left England. Two players in particular, Jordan and Andre Ayew, are newcomers this year and are looking for anyway to put their names up in headlines. Just like the Toure or Wright-Phillips brothers before, the two Ayew brothers bring a sibling rivalry to the league that is one to watch for.
It takes more than talent to be a leader. Talent doesn’t make you responsible, diligent, or reliable. Talent can’t make you say what needs to be said in order to get something done. Talent is incredibly important, but it is only part of what matters when it comes to be a leader, and this is just as true in soccer as it is in any other vocation in the world.
Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels had a terrible season in 2014/15, and so did the rest of his team. Good teams have slow starts all of the time, so it was hard to take their slide seriously at first. Then the team was in the relegation zone in week 10, and then dead last all the way into week 19, and it was impossible to call what was happening at Dortmund just a slow start; it was a full blown crisis.
Pele has been released from the hospital in good health after undergoing surgery on his back. He was admitted into the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil, after suffering from a trapped nerve.

He may be all the way across the Atlantic, but his roots to Liverpool stay strong. During his MLS debut against San Jose at home, Gerrard was pictured with his shin pads that had the Liverpool crest on them.
Liverpool fan or not, massive respect to the former Liverpool captain showing how loyalty in the sport should be displayed.
If he was allowed to wear a Liverpool undershirt, I’m sure he wouldn’t think twice to put it on.
I hope to one day be as great as Alfredo Di Stefano. That in and of itself is nothing unique or special — many hope to be as great as he was — what’s special is how much I mean it.
I want to one day be able to be the man that can look into Cristiano Ronaldo’s eyes and know that there is mutual respect in that gaze, that gives Zinedine Zidane his Real Madrid shirt, that makes a club like Real Madrid the legend that it is today.
Rivaldo and his son, the appropriately-named Rivaldinho, both play for Brazilian second division club Mogi Mirim (Rivaldo is also the club's president).
Given that Rivaldo is one of the best players of all-time (he's 43, but still), and Rivaldinho is the progeny of one of the greatest players of all-time, it's not surprising that they should both score in the same game.

Ignoring all of the keyboard-psychologists out there, the man just doesn’t seem to have that much to be self conscious about. Success has been good to him. He is incredibly rich and one of the two best footballers in the world. If he wanted to, he could probably build a sun dial out of caviar and willing swimsuit models.
It’s gotta feel good to be Arda Turan right now, sure, you are not going to be able to play for your new club, Barcelona, until January, but once you do you will get to be a part of stuff like this:
