There’s no athlete in the world of sport quite like Diego Costa. On his day, he’s a brutally effective striker who blends determination, power, physicality and a mean goalscoring streak. On that same day, Costa also demonstrates a red hot temper, a clear lack of self-control and a penchant for the absurd.

Kei Kamara has a resume that Pope Francis would applaud. He was awarded the MLS Fair Play Award in 2007, and, last year, Kamara was given the distinction of MLS Works Humanitarian of the Year. Kamara has been active in working for peace in his native war-torn Sierra Leone, but on Saturday, he was the guilty party in a conflict with his own teammate, Federico Higuain.

Kamara’s Columbus Crew were leading the Montreal Impact 3-1 in the 51st minute. After a foul by Montreal in the penalty area, Columbus were awarded a penalty with which to give themselves a three-goal cushion.

Some real Green Street Hooligan s*** happened today. The famous movie surrounding West Ham soccer hooligans pretty much came to fruition ahead of the Hammers' final match at the Boleyn Ground. Upon lovable Manchester United's arrival, Hammer fans took to the street to throw any and everything at the Red Devils bus. And when we say any and everything, we mean it. It caused a 45 minute delay to the match, and it was absolute madness. Check it out:

The Chelsea vs. Tottenham 2-2 draw was significant in that it handed Leicester City the title, but even if that outcome had not come to pass, the game itself was still a classic for the ages. It was a blood-and-thunder, old school derby. It was the kind of game that Manchester United and Liverpool used to produce back when those teams actually had players who cared about the occasion. 

We'll admit we don't know much about the Hyundai A-League, also known as the Australian A League. We know that Alessandro Del Piero played there once, that it's presumably in Australia, there's probably some sort of soccer involved and that the games are at two in the freaking morning here in the USA. However, the end of this year's title race has drawn our gaze to that wonderful land down under because it is possibly the most intense title race in the world right now. 

Fights in soccer often don’t escalate beyond shouting matches (with an occasional push thrown in the mix for good measure). This fight between Torpedo Armavir and FC Sibir in the Russian second division, however, lived up to the word. 

After a weekend in which both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi absolutely killed it, we start our week off with news that they actually killed someone. Well, not they themselves, but the idea of them; the debate of Messi vs Ronaldo killed someone.

Throughout the entirety of The Walking Dead's six tumultuous seasons, we've encountered our fair share of memorable characters. From the brash, to the sociopathic, to the ones who will certainly die in the next scene, there's been no shortage of personalities gracing this zombified apocalypse. I know of no other arena with its fair share of outlandish, and ocasionally deranged, personas as the wide world of soccer.
