LONDON — Stuttering Tottenham Hotspur's top-four ambitions suffered another blow when they were second best in a 0-0 draw away to Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Having seen Arsenal displace them from fourth spot earlier in the day, Tottenham would have reclaimed it with a win but they were lacklustre and were fortunate to earn a point.

Brentford, with former Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen pulling the strings, had the best chances with Ivan Toney hitting the crossbar in the first half.

MUNICH, Germany — Bayern Munich beat Borussia Dortmund 3-1 on Saturday to secure its 10th straight Bundesliga title with three games left to play in the season.

The result put the capital side on 77 points, leading second-placed Olympique de Marseille, who beat Nantes 3-2, by 15 points with five games left.

Should PSG avoid defeat at the Parc des Princes against RC Lens on Saturday, they will clinch the title that puts them level on 10 with St Etienne, who won their titles between 1957 and 1981.

Liverpool's first half display against Manchester United at Anfield on Tuesday deserves its own DVD. The special features would include an option to watch every touch from Thiago and Sadio Mané, who were four or five steps ahead of the opposition at every turn. 

It was Mané's clever play in the midst of United's disorganization that led to Liverpool's opener in the fifth-minute, but his assist for Mohamed Salah on Liverpool's second in the 22nd was one of the best passes you'll see all season. 

Ruben Gabrielsen's goal in the 90th minute capped a wild late comeback as Austin FC scored three times in the final 10 minutes to beat host D.C. United 3-2 on Saturday.

It was the first-ever match between the two teams and a tale of two halves. The first 45-plus minutes belonged to D.C. United and Ola Kamara while the second half, played with the home team a man down, was owned by Austin FC.

Gabrielsen's game-winning goal came off a long crossing pass to the far post by Diego Fagúndez that bounced out of the hands of D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid.
