Ukraine Wins Friendly Against Gladbach In Nation's First Match Since Russia's Invasion

Oleksandr Pikhalyonok scored the winner as Ukraine beat Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-1 in a friendly on Wednesday in the national team's first game since the country was invaded by Russia.

The match at Borussia-Park was attended by over 20,000 spectators, with all proceeds going towards relief efforts in Ukraine. Players from both teams held up a "Stop War" banner before kick-off.

Haaland officially joins on July 1 on a five-year contract that pays him $462,000 per week ($24 million a year).

David Moyes Blames Ball Boy While Apologizing For Kicking Ball At Him

West Ham United manager David Moyes apologized after he was sent off for kicking a ball at a ball boy during his side's Europa League semifinal defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.

With 12 minutes remaining, Moyes angrily kicked the ball at a ball boy who he thought was wasting time as 10-man West Ham lost 1-0 in the second leg in Germany and went out 3-1 on aggregate.

The 2022 NFL International Series schedule has been released, featuring five games in four different soccer stadiums in England, Germany and Mexico. The venues in England, Wembley and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Mexico, Estadio Azteca, have been used before, but for the first time ever, a regular season game is coming to Germany and Munich's Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Müller has extended his contract until 2024 which will keep the Germany international at his boyhood club until the age of 34, the Bundesliga champions announced on Tuesday.

Müller, a product of Bayern's youth system, has been with the club since he was 10. He has scored 226 goals and won the Bundesliga title for the 11th time this season — a record for the German top flight.
