Son Heung-min Rescues Tottenham With Ridiculous Howitzer From Long-Range

Tottenham attacker Son Heung-min saved his side from a calamitous home defeat to West Ham United after absolutely lacing a strike in the 84th minute of their Premier League encounter. Pedro Obiang had given West Ham the advantage in the 70th minute with his own vicious punt, but Son’s seventh goal of the EPL season saw Spurs salvage a draw.

It’s still a hugely disappointing result for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who sit fifth after 22 matches — three points behind Liverpool in fourth. The result also keeps sixth-place Arsenal only two points back on their London rivals.

Zico Could Kill A Mosquito From 40 Yards With His Incredible Free Kicks

I had a teammate growing up who was our regular penalty kick taker. He would slowly walk up to the ball and kick it meekly toward the corner. Eventually, the ball would trickle into the back of the net, with supreme accuracy overriding the deliberate pace of the shot. Brazilian legend Zico’s free kicks would do the same thing, only from 20 to 40 yards out.

Watch Messi Score A Devilish Bicycle Kick In Training

Lionel Messi scores amazing goals in games all the time, bud did you know he also scores amazing goals in practice sometimes? It's true! This compilation of Barcelona training goals features some cool stuff from Messi and others, but Messi setting himself up for a bicycle kick is undoubtedly the pick of the bunch.

Christian Pulisic Wins Bundesliga’s Goal Of The Month For December

Two weeks after being named the 2017 U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year, 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund attacker Christian Pulisic added another first to his individual trophy cabinet: the accolade for December’s Bundesliga Goal of the Month.

It was the eighth Bundesliga goal of Pulisic’s career, but the first to be named Goal of the Month. The composed finish against Hoffenheim from December 16 gave Dortmund all three points in the 89th minute.

Coutinho Is The Only Footballer Whose “Instinctive Finish” Is From 25 Yards Out

“I used to try to look at the ball and when I’m looking at that ball, I’m trying to see who is moving where and how to make sure I can plan my goal. Sometimes it’s instinct. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to lie — sometimes it’s an instinctive finish. But most of the times, you see a lot of strikers in one-on-one situations or when the ball is traveling, losing their way in what they’re trying to do because they’re thinking about it while they are doing it.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Scores In His First Start Since Major Knee Injury

It’s hugely unfortunate for Carabao Cup quarterfinalists Bristol City, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s feel-good return following last season’s significant knee injury found its happy ending Wednesday after the big Swede scored in his first start of the 2017-18 season.

It’s a deflected effort from a free kick that should’ve never been awarded, but Bristol’s anger is Zlatan’s sweet redemption. Ibra has made substitute appearances for United in both the Premier League and Champions League over November and December, but the 36-year-old was handed his first start in the League Cup.

18-Year-Old Replicates Relative's Goal 80 Years Later For Feyenoord

Dylan Vente, an 18-year-old forward for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, scored what may be the coolest goal of the past weekend on Sunday. Vente didn’t just score his first career goal, he scored a goal that was nearly identical to one scored by his grandfather’s brother 80 years earlier — also for Feyenoord.

Vente’s goal was the second in a 7-0 rout of Sparta Rotterdam. The teenager met a looping cross and headed it the ball over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
