Surprise Ted Lasso Claymation Christmas Episode Will Make You Feel Like A Kid Again

Nothing says Christmas like an awkwardly animated claymation holiday story. While Season 2 of “Ted Lasso” gave us the series’ first Christmas episode, the creators of the beloved comedy surprised fans with a one-off Ted Lasso Christmas episode this week.

NBC Sports and Peacock received the ratio on Thursday as its coverage of Liverpool vs. Newcastle United on the subscription-based service, despite saying contrary on the menu, didn't start at all as planned with users getting a multitude of different errors before taking to Twitter.

Palmeiras President Asks Fans To Stop Sending Money To Her Bank Account For New Striker

SAO PAULO - The new president of Brazilian club Palmeiras appealed to fans to stop sending money to her personal bank account on Thursday, a day after the details were revealed at her inauguration ceremony.

Leila Pereira, who was last month elected Palmeiras’ first female president, was surprised when her social security number and home address were read out at Wednesday’s event.

A few hours later, Pereira said supporters were sending her money to buy a new striker, using a popular direct transfer application called PIX.

‘Welcome To Wrexham’ Trailer Doesn’t Reveal Much, But We’re Anticipating Great Things

In all honesty, the majority of soccer documentaries, unless you're a diehard supporter of the club featured, are skippable. In the end they all play out as exercises in public relations — glamorized puff pieces looking to move the needle on brand awareness.

You Know The Mannings, But What About The Incredible Seedorf Family?

Running through Wednesday's KNVB Cup results on ESPN FC there was a name that stuck out like royalty among the Van den Bergs and Voets — a goalscorer for Den Haag identified as one "C. Seedorf".

A quick search revealed that he's 21-year-old winger Cain Seedorf, who spent time at Ajax's youth academy before signing his first professional contract with Den Haag in 2020. And yes, he's a nephew of the legendary Clarence Seedorf.

Spider-Man Asked Mbappé To Join Tottenham; His Response Was Unnecessarily Brutal

Given the popularity of superhero movies these days, it’s easy to believe they can do anything — one large-chinned figure can snap his fingers and make half the world disappear, another underwear-on-the-outside figure can fly so fast he can reverse time and another dude fires a bow and arrow really well (OK that guy I don’t get). But not even your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man’s webs can ensnare the fastest footballer on the planet.

Trapped In The Net Like Some Sort Of Northern Pike, Andy Carroll Makes An Unreal Goal-Line Clearance

As glorious as Andy Carroll's return to Newcastle United in 2019 originally felt, it eventually only served as a reminder of the toll that time effects on us all. There was something poetically symmetrical about his final 19 Premier League games for the Toon back in 2010 producing 11 goals of the rough-riding and swashbuckling variety, while his return season yielded the same amount of appearances but zero goals.

It turns out the passing of a decade leaves us all, either literally or metaphorically, mutton-chopped, grumpier (throwin' elbows) and with a lot shittier ankles.

CBS Is Ready For MLS Cup Featuring Porto And New York City FC

CBS doesn’t have the broadcasting rights for MLS Cup and apparently couldn’t give less of a damn about who is playing. I was double-checking which channel was showing the game and clicked on the preview done by CBS.
