However, Juve’s monotonous, predictable and uninspired performances of late have allowed their nearby neighbors to catch up and just two points separated the sides going into the derby. Despite a stunning goalkeeping performance from Torino’s Vanja Milinković-Savić, Juventus found its winner thanks to Dušan Vlahović.

MILAN — AC Milan secured a 2-0 win over rivals Juventus with goals from defender Fikayo Tomori and midfielder Brahim Diaz in a spirited Serie A clash at the San Siro on Saturday.

Tomori made it 1-0 just before the break when he followed up a shot by Olivier Giroud and rifled the ball into the roof of the net, sending Juve goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny the wrong way.

Although the midfielder had started for the Vecchia Signora in the last three games, McKennie came on in the 60th minute vs. I Rossoblù in Sunday’s Serie A league match.

A 2-2 draw saw both sides take a point away from the match, but the Turin-based club will feel hard done after new images came out revealing the officiating crew made an appalling mistake, costing Juve two points.

France midfielder Paul Pogba said he is the victim of extortion attempts and threats from an organized gang and that authorities in Italy and France are investigating the matter.

Pogba, who rejoined Italian Serie A club Juventus in July following his departure from English Premier League side Manchester United, released a statement on Sunday after his brother Mathias Pogba posted a video online.
