Neymar unveiled a fresh new celebration on Saturday. Scoring the third goal for PSG against Angers in a 3-1 win, he showed off some writing on an unusually large wristband. 

Neymar is typically sporting a band of tape around his right wrist, but today his Nike-emblazoned band was more reminiscent of a college quarterback with a list of plays written on it. But it wasn’t to remember any set-piece plays, but to honor a dear family member.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is to make a decision about the vacant Bordeaux managerial post over the weekend. Henry had been linked with taking over from Steve Bruce at Aston Villa after new owners had taken over the club, but it did not eventuate.

Just eight days after scoring his first competitive goal for Paris Saint-Germain against Monaco in the Trophée des Champions, 18-year-old American phenom Timothy Weah has scored his first Ligue 1 goal for the club. PSG opened the 2018-19 league season against Caen and goals from Neymar and Adrien Rabiot had the home side cruising at the half. 

Had the head of Lindsey Horan not come to the rescue in the dying seconds of the match against Australia last night, the USWNT would have been handed its first loss in over a year. Though they salvaged a draw, fans of the game have seen this before and the message is loud and clear: the rest of the world is catching up.

A Malcom Barcelona transfer has shocked the market.

A day after AS Roma announced it had signed Malcom on social media, Barcelona officially confirmed the Brazilian star as its brand new signing coming from Ligue 1’s Girondins de Bourdeaux on Tuesday.
