Normally, when one's 21-year-old Kosovar striker makes a substitute appearance after fans have been calling for him and ends up scoring the winner, that is cause for celebration. Not for Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy, though. Mick McCarthy does not celebrate.

Ipswich Town were down 1-0 to Burton Albion on Saturday in the second half, and fans were calling for Bersant Celina, a 21-year-old Kosovar on loan from Manchester City, to be introduced. Ipswich Town tied the match up in the 66th minute and Celino came on in the 84th, scoring a late winner.

The man who will start the rebuilding process for U.S. Soccer is Dave Sarachan, who was named interim USMNT coach for the team’s final match of 2017, a November friendly against Portugal. That the press release from U.S. Soccer mentioned Sarachan exactly once in six paragraphs tells you all you need to know about the new coach. 

Right when we thought things couldn't get worse for Chivas de Guadalajara, a shocking rumor comes roaring from overseas: The Mirror has reported that Chivas manager Matias Almeyda is now a “shock contender” to succeed Craig Shakespeare as Leicester City manager.

Although there had been persistent talk that Almeyda’s days managing Chivas were numbered, nothing had yet been solidified.
