All signs point to a new USMNT manager, but it's going to be a very long process

The future of the USMNT took another dramatic twist Thursday morning with a press release from U.S. Soccer confirming that sporting director Earnie Stewart — currently overseeing the search for the team's next full-time coach — is leaving his role next month to return to the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven. 

With this closely following the ongoing review of Gregg Berhalter and the departure of Brian McBride as general manager, there are two ways of viewing the current state of the men's program: either it's in shambles or it's a clean slate moving forward.

Borussia Dortmund have played two league games since the Bundesliga restart and Reyna has scored late game-winners in both. On Sunday he scored a rocket of a goal in the 78th minute to seal a 4-3 Dortmund victory.

Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji said Marcus Rashford was clearly interfering with play in the lead-up to Manchester United's equalizer in their Premier League match on Saturday.

City defenders tracked Rashford's run from an offside position as he chased the ball for 30 yards before Bruno Fernandes stepped in at the last second to score.

The linesman raised his flag for offside but referee Stuart Attwell awarded the goal, allowing United to mount a comeback and win 2-1.
