The Manchester United Women finally got a chance to play at Old Trafford, and Christen Press took full advantage of the opportunity to become one of the few Americans to have scored at the iconic stadium. Press netted the second goal in a 2-0 win over West Ham on Saturday. 

Women’s Super League Reaches Landmark Broadcast Deal With BBC And Sky Sports

The BBC and Sky Sports said they have agreed a three-year, multi-million pounds deal to broadcast Women's Super League matches from the 2021-22 season.

The BBC will broadcast 22 live games, with a minimum of 18 shown on BBC One or BBC Two. Sky Sports will show up to 44 matches, with a minimum of 35 shown on Sky Sports Football, Premier League and Main Event channels.

The remaining matches not selected for broadcast will be shown live on the FA Player. The agreement with both broadcasters would run until the summer of 2024, BBC said.

Manchester United Drops Chevy As Shirt Sponsor

BERLIN — Manchester United will sport German software firm TeamViewer's logo on their shirts from next season, drawing a line under a deal carmaker Chevrolet which has sponsored them for the past seven years.

The deal seeks to raise the global profile of TeamViewer , a remote connectivity software company that floated in Frankfurt in 2019 and has since expanded internationally.

Manchester United Women will play at Old Trafford for the first time when they host West Ham United in the Women's Super League (WSL) next week, the club said on Tuesday.

Casey Stoney's side, who usually play their home games at Leigh Sports Village, are due to host West Ham on March 27.

MANCHESTER, England - Manchester City's 21-match winning streak was ended by rivals Manchester United as Ole Gunnar Solskjær's side enjoyed a 2-0 Premier League derby victory at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

United won thanks to an early penalty from Bruno Fernandes and a second-half strike from Luke Shaw with the result narrowing City's lead at the top of the table to 11 points over United with 10 games remaining. It was City's first defeat in all competitions since Nov. 21.
