LeBron James of Soccer Christian Pulisic named Serie A Player of the Month

United States men’s national team forward Christian Pulisic has put his dogdays of Chelsea behind him and is now one of the brightest stars in Serie A being named December’s Player of the Month.

Pulisic churned out quality performances for Milan throughout the month and tallied two goals and two assists. The 25-year-old provided a goal contribution in four of Milan’s five league games in December.

Inter Miami CF signed free agent wingback and midfielder Julian Gressel through the 2026 season.

The deal was sealed Tuesday includes an option for 2027 and reunites Gressel with head coach Tata Martino.

Gressel, 30, won the 2018 MLS Cup playing for Martino with Atlanta United FC.

Gressel added another championship last season, lifting the 2023 MLS Cup with the Columbus Crew.

Napoli’s horrendous season has a new dramatic chapter as star forward Victor Osimhen has called out teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent for claiming a rumor about him wanting to leave the club for a Saudi Arabian side.

Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, spoke on Georgian television saying that he thinks Osimhen plans on leaving Napoli at the end of the season.

Osimhen didn’t let that slide and retorted with a fiery Instagram story directed at Jugeli.

Al Nassr and Senegal star Sadio Mané, 31, married his long-term girlfriend Aisha Tamba, 18, during a private wedding ceremony in Dakar, Senegal.

The wedding reportedly took place on Sunday.
