Dog Sums Up Tottenham Fans’ Feelings On Europa Conference League With A Steamer

There are, I presume, people who are really excited about the Europa Conference League. For fans of teams from nations that don’t regularly send teams to the Champions League or even Europa League, the wordy Europa Conference League presents an opportunity to do something grand on a continental stage. But if we’re being honest, I imagine most fans — especially Tottenham supporters — feel the same way about the competition as this dog.

Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich Out Until 2022 With COVID Complications

While Bayern Munich has been dominant lately in the Bundesliga, it will be without a key player until the New Year.

Midfielder Joshua Kimmich, who hasn't played since Nov. 6 due to COVID-19, is set to miss the rest of the month due to a lung problem that arose from his bout with the illness.

Yesterday I Was Part Of An Indoor Soccer Miracle

Every goalkeeper has one dream that surpasses all other dreams. Yes, most keepers aspire to make top-corner saves and stop late-game penalties, but above all, every goalkeeper wants to score a goal.

A full-field boot over the head of the opposing goalkeeper is a welcome possibility, as is making a rare appearance in a striker's shirt. Yet very little can exceed the excitement of a last-minute equalizer.

From The Court To The Pitch: Re-Envisioning European Soccer In College Basketball Terms

Rumors of a UEFA Super League have become increasingly prevalent in recent times as larger clubs look for ways to earn a buck any way they can. An official announcement of a Super League even came earlier this year before being trounced by fans across the continent.

Big clubs loathe the current Champions League format because it limits matchups against other big clubs and forces them to share the prize money, while smaller clubs believe the format is slanted against them.

Naeher Or Nothing? Ranking The Best Goalkeepers In Women's Football

As a semi-active goalkeeper and current goalkeeper coach, I pride myself on being knowledgeable about all things goalkeeping. But early on into this project, I realized I was in over my head. My goalkeeper expertise was far outweighed by my previous lack of knowledge on women's soccer.

I couldn't rank the top ten women's goalkeepers because I couldn't even name ten of them. I was humbled and also disappointed in myself, but I set out to rectify the situation by producing the best damn rankings of women's goalkeepers I possibly could.

Mal Pugh Becomes Engaged To MLB Player

Mal Pugh just missed out on an NWSL championship ring this year after her Chicago Red Stars lost 2-1 in extra time to Trinity Rodman’s Washington Spirit on Nov. 20. But she got another ring that’ll last even longer.

Major League Baseball player Dansby Swanson proposed to USWNT forward Mal Pugh this week, and the 23-year-old said yes.

Zenit Players Take Pitch Holding Puppies And Malcom Couldn’t Be Happier

Brazilian winger Malcom hasn’t quite hit the heights expected of him after a $46 million transfer to Barcelona in the summer of 2018. He lasted just one season in Spain before he was shipped off to Russia. But just look at the man now; I don’t think he could be any happier.

Malcom and Zenit St. Petersburg players walked onto the pitch for a Russian Premier League match against FC Rostov on Friday carrying puppies in their arms. It was all part of an attempt to get these good boys and girls adopted from local shelters.

Premier League Controversy As Arsenal Scores With David De Gea Down Injured

An intriguing Thursday evening fixture between two struggling Premier League giants quickly devolved into controversy when Arsenal scored a goal while Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea was down injured.

The sequence started with an Arsenal corner whipped in by Martin Ødegaard. As the ball went up, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea had his right heel accidentally stepped on by his teammate, Fred.

De Gea went down in pain but play continued, and Arsenal's Emil Smith-Rowe put the ball in the back of the net from the edge of the penalty area.
