While there’s a thrilling Premier League title race going on right now, as Arlo White loves to tell us, we can’t forget there’s also an incredible Golden Boot race shaping up.

Horacio Sala was 58.

Arlo White Really Likes To Explain To You That Goals Are A Big Deal In This Title Race

Arlo White is the voice of NBC’s coverage of the Premier League, a fixture on Saturday and Sunday mornings in the U.S. as NBCSN brings American viewers one of the most exciting title races in recent memory to our living rooms.

And Arlo White isn’t going to let you forget that last fact.

Throughout 2019, White has felt compelled to exclaim that every goal scored by Liverpool or Manchester City could possibly be the title-deciding strike. It’s getting a little old and a bit condescending to soccer fans in the U.S.

Ball Boy Is Every Manchester United Fan After Pathetic Miss From Jesse Lingard

Wednesday’s Manchester Derby was a big one. While both sides of Manchester were hugely invested in the match, so too was the rest of the top six with the races for both the Premier League title and Arsene Wenger Memorial Top Four Trophy more heated than ever.

For once, Liverpool fans were rooting for their hated Manchester United rivals, hoping they could put a dent in City’s title hopes.

For once, Liverpool fans could feel a little empathy for Red Devils fans who have to their strikers fluff their lines in front of goal over and over.

Shane Long Scores The Fastest Goal In Premier League History

The opening seven seconds of today’s Premier League fixture between Europa League hopefuls Watford and relegation-threatened Southampton DID NOT DISAPPOINT. A lot of supporters inside Vicarage Road hadn’t even made it to their seats by the time Shane Long opened the scoring for the Saints. Clocked at just seven seconds, it’s the fastest goal in Premier League history.

The previous mark was held by Tottenham’s Ledley King, who scored with a deflected effort against Bradford back in 2000 inside 9.7 seconds.

Burnley All But Guarantees Premier League Safety Following Chelsea Draw

Monday featured yet another onslaught of goals in the early workings of a game in Europe. This time Chelsea and Burnley combined for four goals in the first 25 minutes of action at Stamford Bridge.

Both teams were looking for a much-needed win with Burnley fighting against relegation and Chelsea fighting for a top four spot. Ultimately, following a 2-2 draw, both teams got some help in their respective causes. For Burnley, the point all but secures the club's participation in the Premier League for a fourth straight season.
