According to multiple reports, Mexican national team player Hirving Lozano is in advanced talks to sign with new MLS expansion team San Diego FC for their inaugural 2025 MLS Season.

The club would be paying Lozano's current team PSV Eindhoven around $12 million to acquire the forward in the next transfer window. ‘Chucky’ would become SDFC’s first designated player.
