Christian Pulisic makes first appearance in 61 days — here’s everything he did in short cameo

Chelsea defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday to win the tie 2-1 on aggregate and advance to the quarterfinals. American fans got to watch Gio Reyna and Christian Pulisic play in the match.

For Pulisic this was his first game for Chelsea in 61 days after suffering a knee injury vs. Manchester City at the start of the year. He would only get a short cameo for the Blues as he entered the game in the 83rd minute with his team leading 2-0.

Neymar's season is over

Paris St Germain forward Neymar has been ruled out for the rest of the season with the Brazil international set to undergo surgery to repair ankle ligaments that will keep him out for at least three months, the Ligue 1 club said on Monday.

Neymar, who has 13 goals and 11 assists in Ligue 1 this season, has not played since a 4-3 win over Lille last month, missing PSG's last two games.

LONDON - Chelsea boss Graham Potter has urged fans to turn up the volume at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday as his side look to erase a 1-0 deficit in their Champions League last-16 tie against in-form Borussia Dortmund.

The Germans have won their last 10 games in all competitions, including eight in the Bundesliga where they are second on goal difference behind Bayern Munich.

Ray Hudson’s best quotes from Man City vs. Leipzig draw had spoons, porcupine butts and more

RB Leipzig valiantly fought back to draw Manchester City 1-1 at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday during the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie. If you were watching CBS’ coverage of the game on Paramount+ then you were treated to some classic Ray Hudson commentary.

Hudson and his broadcast partner Andrés Cordero called Wednesday’s game. The plot of the 1-1 draw can be followed in some of Hudson’s funniest/weirdest quotes from the 90 minutes.

PSG confirm Neymar suffered ankle ligament damage during Sunday's game

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar sustained ankle ligament damage in Sunday's 4-3 Ligue 1 win over Lille, the French club said late on Tuesday.

Messi's latest signature cleats are a celebration of life in your mid-30s

He's been wearing them on the pitch for over a week now, but the new Lionel Messi cleats 2023 have finally dropped with adidas giving the World Cup winner his latest signatures — the X Speedportal Messi.1 "L10NEL M35SI" boots.

Who says you can't embrace the age of 35, when 40 is suddenly on the horizon and there's no turning back? Not Messi. He's giving us a bit of playfulness in "Solar Orange/Silver Metallic/Core Black." Adidas is probably supposed to be marketing at teens and 20-somethings, but they said screw it, let's do something for everyone in their mid-30s.

Carragher calling Real Madrid the ‘luckiest’ UCL winners ever was too perfect

Jamie Carragher should probably be fired as an analyst after questioning Real Madrid's manifest destiny in the Champions League.

The 14-time winners appeared to live a charmed existence during last year's run to the title — coming back from 2-0 down in the final 30 minutes against PSG, coming back from 4-3 down in the final 10 minutes against Chelsea and coming back from 5-3 down in the final mere minutes against Manchester City before Thibaut Courtois' heroics in the final — but those are probably best analyzed as simply "Real Madrid things."
