The New York Derby Just Became That Much Sweeter

As Major League Soccer grows, so too do the rivalries and competitive spirit within the league. The attractiveness of MLS has grown every day since its introduction to America in the early 90s with the help of world-class players retiring to the league.

The Hardest Hitting Game Of Soccer

Have you ever wanted to just take out an opposing player for a bad tackle they committed? Look no further, because in this modified soccer match it is encouraged to hit your opponents as hard as possible.

Bubble soccer is becoming another sporting craze that takes the world’s sport and puts on a twist. We’ve seen FootGolf, a hybrid of soccer and golf, that focuses on finesse and accuracy and now we can indulge on the dirty side of the sport.

Robbie Rogers Scores First Goal Since Coming Out As Gay

In case you missed it, the LA Galaxy slaughtered the Portland Timbers by a commanding scoreline of 5-0 to jump ahead of them in the Western Conference.

Goal three came in the 32nd minute, after Robbie Keane delivered a beautiful feed to Robbie Rogers, who first-timed his shot after rounding from outside left. While increasing an advantage during a league MLS game doesn’t seem that newsworthy, this goal happened on a special night to the right person.

Predicting The Starting Lineup Of The USWNT For Its Match Against China

The United States and China have a bit of history in the World Cup. The last time these two teams met in the competition in 1999, the USWNT won the match, and went on to win the entire tournament. A high standard to live up to, especially considering that the US has yet to hit its best, most convincing form.

This Guy Ruins A Child’s Day In 5 Seconds Flat

What is America in a word?

Such is a question for poets and philosophers, kings and presidents.

I have no idea what America is in one word, but I do know what America is in one video, or more accurately, ‘Murica.

USWNT Has An Easy Path Into The World Cup Semifinals

Now that the USWNT has moved on from Group D, their road to a World Cup championship has gotten a little bit easier.

The United States road through the bracket includes Colombia (ranked 28th in the world) and China (16th), with the winner of Germany vs France awaiting in the semis.

Other than China, it seems as if the road for the US has gotten a lot easier, although, is anything going to be easy for the US? Defensively, the US has been solid, not so much on the offensive end.

The 2015 Women's World Cup Signals A Shift In Sports

Football has done it again. That is, football has proven why it is the greatest sport on Earth.

The Women’s World Cup closed out the group stage this week and, for our money, Korea Republic put on one of the best displays, defeating a strong Spain side 2-1 and securing a nervy, but safe passage to the round of 16.

LA Galaxy And LAFC Kick Off Their Rivalry With A Twitter Feud

The anticipated rivalry between Los Angeles FC and LA Galaxy, set to begin in 2018, is off to a rip-roaring start.

The Golden State Warriors, who are owned in part by Peter Guber, just won the NBA championship. Peter Guber is also part-owner of LAFC, so some congratulations were in order from the MLS expansion franchise. That congratulations came in the form of a tweet.

Clint Dempsey Got A Red Card In The Funniest Way Possible

Clint Dempsey made a bad night worse for the Seattle Sounders Tuesday. The Sounders finished their US Open Cup match against the Portland Timbers with seven players thanks to an injury after they had used up all their subs, and three red cards. The last, and funniest, of these was given to Dempsey, who, while protesting a red card to a different Sounders player, took the referee's notebook and ripped it up. Although the ref was totally justified in red-carding Dempsey (who now might face a suspension for the incident, which is stupid), points for originality here for Clint.

Seattle Sounders Reserve Gets Sent Off For Insane Double-Footed Nut Shot

Yikes. Seattle Sounders 2's Sergio Mota did a bad thing. A really bad thing. The bad thing he did was kicking LA Galaxy II's Adrian Vera in his crotch with both feet. Mota was rightly sent off, although that probably won't stop Vera from seeming a little jumpy and talking in a high-pitched voice than usual for the forseeable future. Getting hit in the nuts hurts. Getting kicked in the nuts, with two, cleated feet, must be the worst feeling in the world. Adrian Vera is pretty damn tough if he kept playing after that.
