Ana Galindo Hace Historia Como La Primera Técnica De Un Seleccionado Varonil De México

El fútbol mexicano vive un momento histórico y no es una exageración. Ana Galindo guiará a la sub 17 en una gira por Japón y se convertirá en la primera directora técnica en dirigir a un seleccionado varonil del Tri.

Si bien la labor de Galindo será transitoria – ya que el entrenador habitual en estas lides, Raúl Chabrand, comanda a la categoría sub 21 en el Torneo Maurice Revello –, al final del día historia es historia. Sobre todo a la hora de derribar barreras y la batalla por normalizar la igualdad de género.

Ana Galindo, primera técnica México varonil

Galindo cuenta con una importante experiencia en el fútbol femenil, tanto a nivel de clubes como en selección.

En Liga MX fue asistente de Leonardo Cuéllar en el América, en una campaña que acabó con el título del Apertura 2018. En las Águilas su labor fue excepcional, al punto que cuando dejó su trabajo para sumarse al organigrama de la selección hubo incluso una emotiva conferencia de prensa en la que se despidió del equipo azulcrema, acompañada por todo su plantel.

En el Tri ha cumplido diferentes tareas. Fue auxiliar de Luis Pérez en la sub 20 varonil y ha sido DT de las categorías sub 15 y sub 17 de la selección femenil. Con la última acaba de calificarse al Mundial de la India, a disputarse el próximo mes octubre. 

Con la sub 17 varonil, los desafíos para Ana Galindo serán el miércoles 8 de junio ante Uruguay, el viernes 10 frente a Corea del Sur y el domingo 12 vs. Japón
