Alex Morgan Will Be On The Cover Of FIFA 16

Alex Morgan, Christine Sinclair and Stephanie Catley will all be featured alongside Lionel Messi on the front cover of FIFA 16 this September in their respective nations.

Cristiano Ronaldo still can’t catch a break with EA Sports. Lionel Messi steals the stage yet again as the most popular poster boy for the hit soccer video game. However, the Barcelona forward’s partner on the cover continues to change. This time you may not have guessed who. 

Alex Morgan, Christine Sinclair and Stephanie Catley will all share a spot the world’s best on the front of FIFA 16 in each of their respective regions. Also, for the first time, and just in time at the conclusion of the Women’s World Cup, women’s national teams will be available to use in the new game. 

In an effort to help popularize the idea of women being introduced to the FIFA video game, three of the top players have been selected to be pictured on the cover. After all the grief Jordan Henderson got from being selected as Messi’s partner on the UK release, Alex Morgan has received a lot of praise and honor from the USA.
