According to the University of Bristol, 88 percent of people who set a New Year’s resolution ultimately fail. Worryingly, that total comes despite the fact that 52 percent of people set out with the utmost confidence in their ability to achieve their goal. This should tell you a lot about the human race.
But Diego Maradona has given us a wonderful example of how to make goal setting and self-improvement fun. Diego has always had a great time at the other end of the spectrum, his pursuit of pleasure in all forms has been widely documented, but the goat can also take this unbridled joy and happiness to more active pursuits, as evidenced by his playing days.

Now Diego is aiming to get in shape for the holidays, and he’s bringing his own approach to improving his physical well-being. Just look how much fun he’s having running nearly eight miles on a treadmill.
That’s how you do it. Diego’s part of the 12% of people that succeed in keeping to their New Year’s resolutions, and we all need to follow his example.
