The 2020 FIFA Club World Cup will feature a meeting of felines in the second round. Ulsan Hyundai (nicknamed "The Tigers") of the K-League will face Tigres de UANL for a place in the semifinals in a duel that will not be easy for the Mexican team.
Players of the AFC Champions League representative (attacker Yoon Bit-garam, midfielder Won Du-jae and center back Kim Kee-hee) agree that they are looking to have fun in the competition to take the pressure off themselves.
"Carrying the K-League banner and representing Ulsan Hyundai in a select tournament that only very few teams in the world get to play in is what I'm most excited about. It's very exciting for us. We are having fun preparing for the game," Kim said.
On the other hand, goalkeeper Jo Hyeon-woo warned that the Tigers will not be an easy opponent for Tigres.
"We have to be stronger than our opponents. Our players have a very good understanding, we will play exciting soccer on the pitch. We have to show that we are not an easy team to play against," he said.
The winner will face Copa Libertadores winner Palmeiras of Brazil in the semifinals.
