Vlad Dragomir arrived at Arsenal in June, signed from ACS Poli Timisoara in Romania for £71,000 ($107,000). The 16-year-old Arsenal phenom was largely an unknown at the time, a central midfielder who liked to get forward on the ball and whom Wenger thought had a bright future. The only other thing we could tell was that young Vlad was a fan of posting copious selfies to his Instagram account (to be fair, what 16-year-old isn't).
It turns out Vlad liked to post more than just selfies.
A couple clever Internet sleuths got busy (OK, you really didn't have to be too clever to find this), and discovered some scandalous photos on young Dragomir's Instagram account:

All at once, every 16-year-old fanboy in the world had a new hero in Vlad Dragomir. Not since the Twilight series has a teen with a vampire namesake been the object of such adoration.
The photos have since been removed from Vlad's Instagram account (one imagines Arsene Wenger waggling a stern finger at the 16-year-old Arsenal phenom) and, apparently, he has figured out more appropriate uses for Instagram.
On Saturday, after scoring his first goal for Arsenal's Under-21 team, Dragomir posted a video of this long-range missile that found its target and opened his account with the club:
Well done, Vlad. We can see you have a bright future with the club. And if teammates like Jack Wilshere are any indication, you're going to have a whole lot of fun in the Premier League.
