Club América vs. Tauro delivered an entertaining CONCACAF Champions League fixture last night.
Barely 3,000 fans attended the game at Estadio Azteca as Las Águilas hosted Panama's powerhouse Club Tauro.
Even after Tauro achieved a shock victory against Dallas FC in the round of 16, it was expected that Miguel Herrera's pupils would come out victorious.

It seemed as if from there things would move smoothly for Los Azulcremas.
However, it was evident Tauro were more concerned with not conceding too many goals than with scoring any of their own.
The Panamanians were even close to scoring an equalizer as Agustín Marchesín handed the ball over to them.
However, the Argentinean goalkeeper made a run for it and miraculously saved it in the last second.
Miguel Herrera noticed his team was struggling to create danger and so he brought stars Oribe Perlata, Cecilio Domínguez and Matheus Uribe off the bench.
The result was immediate. Henry Martín scored the second goal with a header.

Shortly after, Cecilio Domínguez scored the third from inside the box.
Later, new signing Andrés Ibargüen set the definite score at 4-0.
A four-goal advantage seems enough for Club América to start thinking about the semifinals.
Of course, they have yet to play the second leg, but it seems unlikely that they should lose by four goals or more in Panama.
Moreover, Club América are still undefeated this season in both Liga MX and CCL.
In other interesting CONCACAF Champions League clashes, Chivas will visit Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC will host Liga MX champions Tigres.
