FIFA communications director Walter De Gregorio appeared on Swiss television and told a joke. After that, he didn't have a job anymore. The Joke?
"FIFA President Sepp Blatter, the General Secretary, and the Communications Director are in a car. Who is driving? The police."
That's a pretty good joke, we have to admit, but De Gregorio might not think so in hindsight. He resigned, effective immediately, either by force of by his own volition, we're not sure. De Gregorio will serve as a consultant for the rest of the year. FIFA is awful, but it was nice to know that at least one of them had a sense of humor. Now he's gone. Ugh.
