Jose Mourinho will need to develop a new plan for Chelsea next season — seeing as he can't park the bus anymore — after being banned by British law to drive for the next six months.
The Portuguese manager was caught by roadside speed cameras going 10mph over the 50mph limit while driving in England this past Wednesday. Because of his previous accumulation of points from traffic violations, he was no longer able to appeal for driving after this past offense.
According to British news sources, Mourinho was charged £910 by the court for his latest offense.
It’s a hard life for speed demon Mourinho, but we think he will find a way to make it by while continuing to manage the Blues. He was already fined by the FA for £25,000 earlier this year for claiming there was a “clear campaign” against his side after a draw against Southampton. This speeding ticket will be no problem at all.
