You have never heard of Scott Sterling, because he doesn’t exist. That didn’t stop him from single handedly (facedly?) deciding a shootout.

The creative geniuses over at Studio C have put together a hilarious sketch about the greatest goalie never to walk the earth: Scott Sterling. 

We would be lying if we didn’t admit that, for only a moment, we thought this was legit footage of a shootout that actually happened. Forgive us, it’s Monday. Regardless, we invite you to suspend your disbelief for the next 5 minutes, and witness the miracle of Scott Sterling. 

In an age of concussion scares and player health issues, this skit perfectly walks the line between making you feel terrible for laughing, and making you laugh all the harder because, in spite of it all, you are indeed laughing.
