Manchester City vs. Borussia Monchengladbach Is Postponed Because The Etihad Is Underwater

Manchester City's first group stage match in the Champions League under Pep Guardiola has been postponed due to heavy rain and lightning.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City Champions League group stage debut will have to wait until the weather cooperates. Man City are scheduled to play Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League group stage, but the match has been postponed because the field looks like this:

You can't play soccer on that. Also, this is happening:

Fair enough.

This will be a good game, once Man City and Monchengladbach get the all-clear from the heavens, but until then we'll have to watch Barcelona or something.
