Chalk this story up to the gossip column here at the18.com. But fresh off scoring his first goal for Manchester United in the Premier League, Memphis Depay has been spotted canoodling and shopping around Manchester with singer Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
According to onlookers, the pair attended the same night spots in Manchester on Saturday night, as they were both seen outside Suburbia nightclub and Club LIV. Then, following a night of Saturday partying the pair indulged in a day of shopping and strolling Monday afternoon.
Now, this isn’t the first time Memphis Depay and Karrueche have been seen together, or even linked as a potential couple. Following his summer move from PSV to Manchester United, the pair spent time together in Miami Beach during Memphis’s vacation, strangely just days after her split from the aforementioned Chris Brown.
Is this a new blossoming celebrity romance? Or just two pals hanging out?
Whatever it is, football stars have seemed to take a liking to hanging out with Chris Brown’s exes. Earlier this year Karim Benzema was linked romantically to another Chris Brown ex, Rihanna, but the pair apparently broke up soon after.
Maybe it’s just that the old saying is true: all artists want to be athletes and all athletes want to be artists. One thing is for sure though, both occupations don’t hurt you with the ladies.
