Memphis Depay is a murderer. In Manchester United's game against FC Midtjylland, The Dutch international repeatedly destroyed poor right back Andre Romer, who was left almost in tears after the display. The Red Devils crushed the Danish club 5-1, and at times it seemed more like Memphis Depay vs Midtjylland as the Dutchman ran rampant.
"I have never been so close to crying over a football game like tonight," said Romer in an interview with Ekstra Bladet. "I feel absolutely terrible, and it's a fight I would like to forget as soon as possible, but unfortunately I will probably remember for life."
Depay was a nightmare all night, repeatedly attacking the fullback with tricks and pace and leaving him with a severe case of twisted blood. Eventually, Romer received his second booking of the night and was sent off, which was probably a relief for the young man.
This is absolutely brutal from Memphis.

Depay had a fine performance, forcing an own goal and scoring one himself in the dying embers of the match. He has seen a lot of criticism come his way since his move from PSV Eindhoven, but his performance was a timely reminder of just why he is held as one of Europe's brightest talents.
Poor Andre Romer. He never saw it coming.
