As if Real Madrid transfer rumors needed any more help, Real youth coach Zinedine Zidane has come out and said that he has been keeping an eye on Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard.
"There are players I keep an eye on and who I like a lot, like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, of course," he said. "They're fantastic players, but I like Eden Hazard a lot too. I enjoy everything he does on the pitch.”
"I like the way he carries himself, that decisive streak in him and the fact that he's improving every year. He can still get better too, and I think he's a big reason why Chelsea are on top of the table."
At first glance, it would seem that there is no room on Real Madrid’s wings for a player like Hazard. Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo have locked down the left and right wing positions, respectively, when they are not playing as striker. Never the less, not having room for a player has not stopped Los Blancos for buying a coveted player before, and with Gareth Bale seemingly becoming less and less liked in the Spanish capital every month, a shock transfer is not out of the realm of possibility.
Eden Hazard is one of the favorites to win the Premier League’s Player of the Year Award, and, as Zidane said, has been a huge part of Chelsea’s soon-to-be league winning campaign.
