Another week, another batch of cool jerseys dropped in the soccer world for the 2022-23 season. And wow, what a week!
There is no doubt that Inter Miami's underwater stunt to unveil the new MLS eco-friendly jerseys is an effort that stands out in the crowd. However, many other jaw-dropping releases were worthy of applause, starting with Nike Women's 2022 Euro kits and the stunning job from Italian brand Erreà with eight European national teams.
With no further ados, here's the most exciting jersey news of the past seven days.
adidas x Parley 2022 MLS Primeblue Jerseys
Once again, MLS raises awareness about the insane quantity of plastic waste we are dumping in the oceans with an eco-friendly jersey collection made in collaboration with adidas and Parley.
Here’s the ugly truth: Our shorelines are littered with plastic pollution that’s suffocating our oceans. To end plastic waste, everyone needs to be part of the solution — starting with us. pic.twitter.com/p43Cho1LO1

All the teams from the league will wear the same exact version of the kit – in white or blue – but Inter Miami wanted to give it a little extra oomph with a special photo session underwater and surrounded by rays.

Every jersey has been manufactured using a high-performance yarn made of recycled plastic, which is very commendable. From a design point of view, though, I can't hide the snob monster that lives inside of me: it's just a slightly modified version of the generic Condivo 21 adidas catalog template.
Nike Women's Euro 2022 jerseys
We already talked about the fantastic jerseys Nike created exclusively for three European powerhouses looking ahead to the 2022 Women's Euro. A floral pattern in the French kit is the highlight of the collection, but the diamond-cut graphic on the English outfit and the use of the De Stijl artistic movement in the Dutch strips are nothing short of sensational.
Finland 2022-23 jerseys
Without the same media attention, Nike also unveiled Finland's new look. To be honest, the home kit is not a significant departure from what we saw in the last cycle, replicating the national flag. But kudos to the away jersey, inspired by the beautiful forests you can find in those northern lands.

Slovenia 2022-23 jerseys
Another European national team with a new closet is Slovenia. Nike again is in the designing seat, but this time is only applying a graphic chosen by Slovenian fans over one of its generic templates.
The outcome is charming, with the Triglav, the highest mountain in the country, as the main feature. The geographical elevation is in the middle of the chest, along with a vertical band made of diamonds and the silhouette of the mountain's summit.

Erreà 2022-23 UEFA national team jerseys
Nike was not the only brand dressing up European national teams. Italian brand Erreà replaced Macron and created its first collection for the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme, which provides kits to the smallest nations on the continent.
Here is a look at each of them:
Andorra
Geometric shapes and the colors of the national flag is the concept behind the jerseys. Nothing more, nothing less.

Belarus
Probably the best look of the bunch. I love the red garnet, the mint green, and the traditional pattern decorating the shirt.

Cyprus
Surely the least exciting design of the group. There are a few cool details, but they are so hidden that it's hard to take away the boring vibe around these jerseys.

Faroe Islands
This design has no fireworks, but subtle references to the national colors and the national flag are enough for a decent look.

Liechtenstein
Erreà here uses a diamond pattern for all three kits of the European nation. Cute, but maybe a litlle bit bland.

Luxembourg
Well, there is some fun here. The home kit is red with a white band in the middle filled with the lion you can see in the heraldic symbols of the country. The lion also says hi in the away jersey, a beautiful hooped exercise in two tones of blue.

Finally, the third kit has a very creative cross in blue and red over a white background.
San Marino
The home jersey has a subtle graphic of the iconic Three Towers in Mount Titano, while the other two kits pay homage to the frescos in the Council Chamber of the Public Palace.

Leaving international soccer, I also wanted to highlight three cool releases at the club level.
Coventry City 2022-23 jersey
Hummel brought back some of the seventies to the Championship side, rescuing the famous tramline design created by Admiral. The special touch is the pattern inside the lines, which are inspired by the stained glass of the Coventry Cathedral, consecrated 60 years ago.

AEK 2022-23 jersey
The new tiger-striped look for the Greek team is striking, but nothing groundbreaking. In fact, Nike has already used the same pattern with other clubs this season. However, I still think it could be a hot item, mainly among those Chivahermanos that are still longing for the figure of Matias Almeyda, who coincidentally is the new AEK coach.

Vasco da Gama
Last stop, Brazil, where Vasco continues trying to return to the first division. The mission would not be easy, but at least they have dressed for the occasion, thanks to the fantastic job from Kappa.

Another example that a good sash is almost undefeatable.
