El América Podría Ser La Primera Víctima De Erling Haaland Con El Jersey Del Manchester City

Si no hay modificaciones en el calendario, Club América podría convertirse en el primer club en enfrentar a Erling Haaland con los colores del Manchester City.

El delantero noruego hoy abandonó la columna de rumores de mercado y fue oficializado como nuevo refuerzo del conjunto inglés. La noticia la confirmó el mismo Manchester City, luego de pagar la cláusula de salida al Borussia Dortmund (se habla de un costo de entre 60 y 75 millones de dólares) y de que el jugador pasara los controles médicos de rigor.

¿Erling Haaland vs América?

Ahora, ¿cómo el América entra en la ecuación? ¿Por qué Memo Ochoa pasará noches sin dormir?

Simple: hasta el momento, el club mexicano aparece como el primer rival del Manchester City para la pretemporada 2022-23. Los azulcrema enfrentarán a la escuadra inglesa el próximo 20 de julio – un par semanas después del arribo de Haaland – en un amistoso a desarrollarse en el NRG Stadium de Houston, Texas.

El partido es parte del tour de verano del City en suelo estadounidense y de acuerdo al propio club la intención es traer a todas sus figuras. Y Haaland debería estar dentro del paquete. 

OK, sé que muchos dudarán de esa promesa, considerando pretemporadas pasadas, donde uno con suerte le ve la nariz a las grandes estrellas de los clubes europeos. Sin embargo, el calendario del fútbol mundial estará bastante apretado este año con Catar 2022 e imaginamos que los técnicos estarán menos dispuestos a los experimentos.

La Premier League 2022-23, además, comienza el 6 de agosto, porque los márgenes de trabajo son estrechos y seguro nadie – menos Pep Guardiola – querrá dar un milímetro de ventaja. 

¿Haaland contra el América? No, no es una locura y lo mejor es que todavía hay boletos disponibles.
