Newly promoted Lobos BUAP continued their impressive form in the Apertura with a 2-1 victory over Guadalajara at the Estadio Chivas on Tuesday night. Luis Advincula gave the visitors the lead before Rodolfo Pizarro equalized for Chivas early in the second half. The home side dominated possession but the match-winner arrived in the 85th minute in spectacular fashion courtesy of Lobos attacker Amaury Escoto.
The Zapopan native scored the goal of the Apertura season by meeting a clipped cross at the top of the 18-yard box with an acrobatic overhead kick. Rodolfo Cota had absolutely no chance in the Chivas net.

The victory stunned the 20,000+ in attendance and moved Los Lobos into the Liguilla places. The defeat sees the 2017 Clausura champions slump to 13th in the table.
