Massimiliano Allegri’s side hosted Torino on Tuesday night, putting together a vintage display in this season’s second Derby Della Mole. Goals from Juan Cuadrado, Danilo, Gleison Bremer and Adrien Rabiot were enough to overcome a strong attack from the visitors as Juventus ran out 4-2 winners and moved up to 7th in Serie A.

The decisive moment belonged to Bremer, who joined the Bianconeri from Torino of all clubs last summer. The Brazilian center-back rose to meet a cross from Federico Chiesa, breaking the deadlock and giving Juventus its first lead of the match.

Rabiot doubled his side’s advantage with ten minutes to go ensuring Torino’s wait for a derby win will continue until next season at least. They last grabbed three points from the fixture in April of 2015 and have played 18 games since then.

The match also saw the highly awaited return of Paul Pogba who signed over the summer and has not played a single game since then due to injuries. The French midfielder looked good on his second debut for the club as he replaced 21-year-old Enzo Barrenechea who was also making his debut.

Juventus begins a difficult March with a trip to the Eternal City to face A.S. Roma and ends the month at the San Siro against Inter Milan. Allegri’s side also will be facing Freiburg in the Europa League, in a bid to spare its early-season blushes and bring home some silverware.
