Often times lower leagues (i.e. not the top 5 in Europe) are just lumped together under the same label of “bad play” or “unorganized” and even “not worth watching,” and we get it. We all want to watch the best, because the best pull off more cool stuff than the rest.
The average joe’s of the footballing world do have some advantages over their elite brethren, namely, they pretty much have them beat when it comes to unpredictability. Part of that is fueled by our pure unfamiliarity, but the rest just comes from their lack of talent and the chaos it creates. Case in point: A keeper nailing an attacker in the face with both of his fists as he whiffs a clearance.
