Pachuca beat Monterrey 1-0 in the first leg of the Clausura final yesterday at Estadio Hidalgo vid Francisco Jara's 61st minute diving header that found the top corner of the net.

Now we need to talk about the penalty/non-penalty that could have put Pachuca up 2-0 had it been called. The ref decided "no era penal" and Efrain Juarez posted a picture of some boobs (relax, it's safe for work unless you work in, like, a Church or something) on Twitter to indicate he hit the ball with his chest.
Was it a penalty?
Yeah, it was a penalty. It hit his arm. Era penal. Pachuca should have had the chance to go up 2-0. But they didn't.
As it stands, though, Los Tuzos are in the driver's seat (which is weird because gophers cannot and should not drive anything) going into the second leg, to be played in Monterrey on Sunday. The final has been pretty tame so far, which can only mean there will be fireworks come Sunday. We can't wait.
