Patrice Evra's career may have come to an end Thursday as the 36-year-old Marseille fullback was sent off before a Europa League match against Guimares for trying to kick a fan in the head.
#VSCOM un truc de fou s'est passé entre des supporters semble-t-il Marseillais et des joueurs dont Evra ! Ça a tapé ! @OM_Officiel #TeamOM pic.twitter.com/C9Cozns6X4

Reportedly, some Marseille supporters were verbally abusing Evra and he eventually had enough. He became the first player in Europa League history to be sent off before a match even starts.
Evra's career is probably over now. It's difficult to picture him appearing again this season for Marseille. He will almost certainly be suspended for the rest of the Europa League.
Patrice Evra was pretty darn good back in the day. It's a shame this is probably how it ends for him.
