Picture Perfect Pulisic Pass And A Goal Highlights Thorough Performance From USMNT Star Vs. Burnley

Christian Pulisic had a beautiful assist and a goal against Burnley on Saturday during Chelsea’s comfortable 4-0 victory. The Blues had a muted first half that ended goalless, however a flash flood of three Chelsea goals in seven minutes at the start of the second half saw the game slip away from Burnley. This perfect Pulisic assist vs Burnley made the score 2-0.

Pulisic and Kai Havertz have some of the best link up play among the Chelsea forwards and they showed that with this goal and quality play throughout the game. 

Reece James, Pulisic and Havertz were the danger men for Chelsea with the three putting on a show in the Burnley box. The game’s first goal came in the 47th minute and was all James as he turned Burnley’s defense into a pretzel stand at a carnival.

The trio all combined for the team’s third goal in the 55th minute with Havertz getting the decisive touch.

In the 69th minute Pulisic’s hard work was rewarded when Burnley defender James Tarkowski gave the American a gift of a goal.

While the goal isn’t anything to oogle at it will be good for his confidence and make his stat sheet look a little nicer. This was Pulisic’s fourth Premier League goal of the season and his fifth in all competitions. He also has four assists on the season.

Chelsea's upcoming opponents before the international break are Norwich, Newcastle, Lille and Middlesbrough. If Pulisic gets hot agaisnt these opponents before the big USMNT vs. Mexico game on March 24 that would be huge.

The victory sees Chelsea remain third in the league seven points behind second-place Liverpool and six points ahead fourth-place Manchester United.
