Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, club-less since leaving Fluminense in September, has found a new club, Racing de Montevideo in Uruguay. Or has he?

This all looks well and good, except the announcement fell on the Uruguayan equivalent of April Fools' Day, Dia de los Inocentes. Something seems fishy here.
Dinho is slated to appear with Fluminense in the Florida Cup in January, but after that his club options are wide open. In the past year, he's been linked with clubs as far away as Algeria and Turkey, as well as the usual suspects in Latin America, the USA and Europe. It will be interesting to see where he ends up, if he ends up anywhere.

We wouldn't complain if he were to come to MLS, although we have to say that prospect seems unlikely. Maybe he can go to the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers, part-owned by his buddy Ronaldo, or the New York Cosmos, from where Brazilian Raul recently retired.
